The Tea Cup Ride

Ok, I'm going for junior theme random analogy number two.  I feel like I'm on the tea cups ride at an amusement park.  It spins by itself, but then you get it spinning faster and faster.  Everything around you starts to blur.

This is what I feel like.  I feel like this whole process is flying by and I have no way to slow it down.  Yet at the same time, I feel like I am making it move even faster, but don't have the power to stop myself.  It's all a blur.  Though I must say, the blurriness is probably due to sleep deprivation.

All I can say is, this is the home stretch!  Overall I think I've enjoyed the process...well maybe I'll enjoy it more looking back, when I have a second to catch my breath!  Regardless, I've really enjoyed learning more about my topic and have found my research interesting.

I like your analogy! Very clever. I agree with your idea that you will enjoy junior theme more when it's over. It's been fun, but I think it will be really satisfying once you turn it in!
P.S. you really need to sleep.

  3. Hahaha LOVE it! The entire process was a blur, even now, looking back. I'm not sure I quite enjoyed the research process as a whole, but would love to be able to take a little breather and relax, rejuvenate and catch up on some sleep. Even though Gatsby's already begun I hope you aren't feeling quite as nauseaous as before and find time to get some shut eye!

  4. Haha I love this and totally agree with you! I think overall the project pushes you, but allows you to explore your limits. While some nights you maybe be until 6 am(!!!Dani!!!) but once you finish it's the greatest feeling of accomplishment. Now we can focus on the Hawks destroying Vancouver tomorrow.
