In my opinion, I think the creator of this comic strip is showing what Huckleberry Finn would end up becoming if all of the offensive language and references were removed. This is a completely PC version of the plot, and completely removes Twains original goal to write a commentary on society in the south. I really like this comic, because it makes a satire on what some people are wanting to the book, "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."
Sam, I like that take on it. It's so true if we start by changing the n-word, what will be revised next? And also, if The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are changed, what other books will be under consideration as well?
Pretty funny stuff, Dani. Nice find! How different or similar is it to the "N-Word free" version that is now being promoted?
